Stalin's Execution Lists
The Stalinist execution lists were pre-trial lists of individuals subject to trial by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court and various forms of punishment (predominantly execution), preliminarily approved by Stalin and other members of the Politburo. The presented lists, totaling 388, span the years 1936, 1937, 1938, 1940, 1942, and 1950, and altogether include approximately 45,000 people.
